Glossier: one of my new fav brands

I discovered Glossier about 8 months ago when I found out about one of their bestsellers through some research. I ordered a set and this eyebrow product changed my makeup big time. I will be devastated if they ever stop selling it! So over the past 8 months, I have tried a few more products here and there and I've just about fallen in love with it! My favorite thing about this brand is that all of their products feel like they are perfect for everyday wear. Meaning that if I want to keep it simple and quick, I can throw on products from this brand and I will feel glowy and put together. I wanted to share my thoughts on what I've tried so far and what I will definitely be repurchasing when I run out.

Boy Brow & Brow Flick- $30

THIS! These are the products that changed my makeup game. Boy Brow & Brow Flick are the best products for a natural-looking brow. I've had multiple people ask me when I'm wearing these products together if I have my eyebrows micro-bladed, I don't know about you but that's a freaking compliment to me!

Boy Brow is a small eyebrow brush with colored brow gel. It places the brow hairs in place and allows you to see the places that are missing hairs. If I'm on the go, I will grab this and just brush my hairs in place and be good to go. If you have the extra time and you want that full brow then you can go right in with Brow Flick and create small hair-like strokes & you're set!

Cloud Paint- $18

Cloud Paint is this really cool gel/cream blush formula! It comes in these little squeeze tubes; it is so seamless to apply. I usually will apply a light layer of foundation and then apply color for the day on my cheeks afterward setting with a bit of translucent setting powder. If you're looking for blush that lasts all day and night, using a blush like Cloud Paint and setting it with a powder blush formula on top is the key!!

A little bit goes a long way with this stuff! Seriously, just a drop will be plenty for both cheeks. They currently sell it in 6 shades so you're bound to find one that matches your look well.

Lip Gloss- $14

This past year I have fallen in love with everything dewy. Gone are the days of matte, drying lipsticks! I will always opt for a liner and gloss these days. I was looking for a long time for a pretty plain lipgloss that just made the lips look drenched in moisture! When I realized that Glossier made this beautiful red shade. This formula for this lip gloss is not sticky at all! Which if you're a fan of lipgloss, you know that that is normally an issue. This lipgloss is packed with Vitamin E and Jojoba oil keeping your lips moisturized and fresh. It comes in both clear holographic and red!

Generation G

Now, this lip cream took me a bit to like! This is a sheer-matte formula lipstick meaning that it can be a bit drying at times. Although I absolutely love the look of this lipstick and the color (I got it in shade Crush), I didn't love the formula at first because it just felt like my lips were constantly dry. I probably will not be repurchasing this lippie but for now I've found a great way to wear it! I will apply a few layers of lip balm and then apply Generation G to the lips. It gives a gorgeous sheer texture without the drying effects.

FutureDew- $24

This is pure magic in a bottle!! As I've mentioned earlier, I have pretty dry skin so I try to get all the moisture I can. Futuredew is an oil-serum hybrid that I apply after moisturizer and before makeup. It should be the last step in your skincare routine. This product leaves your skin feeling dewy and moisturized all day long; it has a slightly sticky texture which is great for adhering makeup as well. I especially love this product on the days where I'm not wearing any makeup because it makes my skin look hydrated and well taken care of!! I will definitely be repurchasing this as soon as I run out!!

What I'm interested in trying next

I really love following my favorite brands to see what new things they have coming up! Since I've liked so much from Glossier, I've been keeping track of what they've got going on over there.

Pro Tip- $16

This eyeliner is fairly new to Glossier. It reminds me a lot of the Brow Flick brush that I love so much. It is flexible and thin enough which makes it a super quick and easy type eyeliner! I am currently crushing on Benefit's Roller Liner but as soon as that tube is done, I am placing an order for this baby.

Milky Jelly Cleanser- $18

I have pretty sensitive, dry skin making this cleanser sound perfect for me. It is a gentle cleanser that is pH balanced meaning that it won't strip your skin and make you feel dry and tight. If you check out the ingredient list on their website it has some amazing things for your skin! Some of the ingredients that stand out to me are below.

Comfrey Root Extract Contains allantoin, which heals dry, stressed skin.

Aquaxyl Refills skin’s water reserves and improves its barrier to prevent dehydration.

Pro-Vitamin B5 Powerful, natural moisturizer found in mushrooms and cheese.

Haloscope- $22

I've heard so many people rave about this highlighter. It is a stick formula with a glow that is not glittery at all. It creates a dewy effect that is perfect for an everyday wear highlighter under a full face of makeup or just thrown on before you head out the door. I can't wait to order this!!!

Are a Glossier fan?

Have you tried anything from Glossier? Have you been wanting to check out the brand but haven't bit the bullet?! I hope my little review here helped you make some decisions as to what would be the best fit for your makeup bag! Happy glossing!

XOXO

Megan
